Our
General Service department covers many aspects of
the construction industry with our many years of
experience in the industry. We take pride in
our ability to perform work in a safe and efficient
manner, while also completing jobs that are
difficult and out of the norm. Morris Inc.’s
General Service department is capable of all sizes
of jobs, big or small.
Our
underground crews are capable of installing sanitary
sewer, storm sewer, and water utilities. We
specialize in new construction and rehabilitation of
existing utilities. These crews have also
performed miles of rural water installation
throughout the state ranging in all sizes of pipe.
We can complete this work by either trenching or
open cutting methods.
Site
preparation is also a major component of this
department. This department is able to
complete demolition, excavation, and engineered fill
work. Gravel installation for streets and
parking lots is also a major component of this
department. This also includes prepping these
areas for either concrete or asphalt surfacing.
Existing surface reclamation work is also performed.
Furthermore, our grading crew is able to perform dam
construction, road construction and rehabilitation,
site reclamation, landfill reclamation, site
grading, and any other type of dirt moving projects.
We now have three pieces of equipment equipped with
latest GPS technology. GPS capabilities are
installed on a dozer, scraper, and a motor grader.
This enables us to perform grading operations more
accurately and in a more efficient manner then the
traditional methods, thus saving the owner
substantial time and money.
