We’re thrilled to announce Brandon Hoftiezer as our Employee of the Month! Growing up all over South Dakota, Brandon brings a wealth of experience, strong values, and dedication to our team. Before joining us here at Morris, he spent 15 years at W.W. Tire, which speaks volumes about his commitment and work ethic.
Brandon’s family includes his wife, three boys, two dogs, and a cherished grandchild, and he’s quick to mention how much he values spending time with them. When asked what he likes most about working at Morris, his answer is simple but meaningful: “The Great People.” Brandon appreciates the positive environment and the camaraderie with his coworkers, and his hard work is a big reason why Morris feels like a close-knit family.

August/September 2024 Winner was Ray Frueh, Jr!
Ray, born in Ottumwa, IA, and raised in Kirby, AR, has been an incredible asset to our team. With a hardworking attitude shaped by his time as a sawmill worker in Arkansas and 16 years as a ranch hand in South Dakota, Ray thrives in the outdoors and loves the challenges he faces on the job.
Outside of work, Ray is all about family. He shares his life with his girlfriend Elizabeth, two sons Memphis and Terence, daughter Skylar, and his grandson Ty. When he’s not giving his all at work, he’s the most patriotic guy around and a dedicated father who strives to be the best he can be.

June 2024 Winners were JJ Novak and Blaine Duffel!
These two guys show true dedication to our crew, and to Morris Inc. even though they are knee deep in mud most days they still love coming to work and getting the job done. This duo is arguably the best pipe laying team this side of the Mississippi. Even when things get tough down in the trench these men find a way to get it done. Thank you, fellas, for showing up everyday and busting your tails with a positive attitude, it is definitely contagious! Congratulations to JJ Novak and Blaine Duffel!

We are thrilled to announce Larry Perlenfein as our Employee of the Month! Larry’s dedication, hard work, and positive attitude make him a truly deserving recipient of this honor. Here’s a little more about the man behind the excellence. Larry was born in Burke, SD, and grew up in Bonesteel, SD. These small-town roots have instilled in him a strong work ethic and a genuine love for community. Larry’s family is his pride and joy. He shares his life with his wonderful wife Kelly, their son Tyler, and daughter Alicia. Additionally, he is a proud stepfather to Fawn and Tiffany and a loving grandfather to four amazing grandkids. When asked what he likes best about his job, Larry said, “the variety of different things and all the good people I work with.” His appreciation for the diversity of tasks and the camaraderie among colleagues truly shines through in his work. “I have really enjoyed my time here with Morris, great bunch of people to work with!” Larry’s positive outlook and genuine enjoyment of his work environment are infectious, making him a pleasure to work with every day.” Please join us in congratulating Larry Perlenfein on this well-deserved recognition.
